One of my misconceptions about running was:
That it was boring.
Any pre-race superstitions?
I usually pray A LOT, and my dad used to always take me out for a good breakfast before high school meets.
Training philosophy/schedule:
No schedule at the time...usually too busy to plan, so I go when I get the chance, but my philosophy was, and still is, whenever you think you can't do anymore, you can usually go a little further.
Training diet:
Lots of water and anything else I can shove in my mouth.
One piece of advice I'd give to other runners is:
Don't give up when you have a bad day. Stay mentally strong and you can accomplish every one of your goals.

Somewhere tropical and far away from Lubbock.

What was your first impression of Tech?
"I am definitely not in Kansas anymore!"
The most impulsive thing I've ever done is:
Picked up one morning and drove to Mexico with my friends, spent the day, and drove back.
One thing that other track team members would love to know about me is:
That I loved them all and they were like family to me.
What would you want written on your tombstone?
"You can love her, you can hate her, but you'll never forget her."
