I decided the discus looked like fun so I picked it up and started throwing it. When I didn't fall over I managed to make the cut for the next meet.

throwing my pr in austin when everyone else just wanted me to leave and get on the bus

One of my misconceptions about throwing was:

I didn't know that I would have to be able to squat a semi

nope - just make sure you have fun

Angelina Jolie - we have absolutely nothing in common and she would make a terrible thrower, but at least people would go see the movie

What was your first impression of Tech?

The first time I came I watched Swoopes and the Lady Raiders beat A&M, after that even the smell couldn't make me leave

sign up to go to Spain with no money to go there and no idea how I was going to raise it
